My happy place is either on the lake, in a yoga sculpt class, photographing my incredible couples, at dinner with my college girlfriends (Pajarito is our fav), or just snuggling with the fam on the couch with a bowl of popcorn. I like to think of myself as an introverted extrovert. I absolutely crave social interaction especially when theres a tequila cocktail involved ;) but theres something about unwinding at home and just hanging with the fam that fills my soul. Our typical Sunday involves grilling some yummy steak or pasta with a glass of wine. EDM music is typically my go to but theres something about rolling the windows down in the car once spring rolls around and jamming to country music. If we aren’t chasing Baker around the house making dinosaur noises or playing mini sticks you can usually find us grabbing breakfast at our favorite local bakery, on a walk, or at the pool because Baker is literally a fish.

Corbin and I met when we were 12 years old!
…and became Myspace official after he asked me to be his girlfriend over AOL. Oh yeah, you heard that right, AOL and Myspace!! Now that is true love and I’m totally dating myself… :) We did some long distance dating in college as he continued playing hockey but thank goodness for my really good persuading because he went to college in Minneapolis while I was in St. Paul. I continued cheering him on at all his hockey games and it was some of the best years watching him do what he loved most. Fast forward to 2019 and we did the damn thing, I officially stole his last name and the rest is history. He has totally made me a sucker for love (and breakfast) and is the reason why I love being a photographer. Now jump to 2022, we grew our family and our whole world changed for the better. We have been absolutely smitten loving our not so little toddler, Baker, and soaking in all the incredible moments with him. There’s truly something so special about capturing milestones and freezing time forever for you to cherish a moment, or a day, for the rest of time. It seriously goes by in the blink of an eye and now more than ever I just want to freeze time with our little family; so giving that back to my couples and families through photos means the world to me.
